David Parker,  professor of theology and a director of the Institute for Textual Scholarship and Electronic Editing  at the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, will be the guest lecturer for the Divinity School’s 2009 Kenneth W. Clark Lectures.
He is the editor of the International Greek New Testament Project. His publications include “The Living Text of the Gospels” and “An Introduction to the New Testament Manuscripts and their Texts.”
Parker will present lectures on “New Testament Textual Scholarship Today” on Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 12:20 – 1:20 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 11 from 8:30 -9:30 a.m. Both lectures will be in Room 0016 of the Westbrook Building at the Divinity School.
