Westbury UMC is a multi-cultural congregation in Houston, TX seeking a full time Director of Children’s Ministries. The leader of our children’s ministry would be a well organized, team player with a capacity for visioning.  This person would coordinate children’s Sunday school, seasonal activities, summer programming and children’s missions.  Westbury is a mission oriented congregation so we are seeking someone who would have a keen interest in ministry with our church family and a community oriented focus as well for children’s ministry. A Bachelors degree minimum is strongly preferred with some experience working with children and families in a church and/or non-profit setting.
