Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, located in High Point, NC, is seeking a full-time Director of Evangelism and Missions. Wesley Memorial is a dynamic 2100 member congregation that is actively engaged in making and sustaining spiritually healthy followers of Jesus Christ who live in ways that transform the local and global community.

A candidate for the position of Director of Evangelism and Mission shall have a passion for connecting persons to Jesus Christ and the community of faith and to ways of serving Christ in High Point and beyond. He/she shall be grounded in Christian doctrine, having and professing faith in Jesus Christ, and in agreement with the doctrine and polity of the United Methodist Church.

A candidate for this position shall also possess skills in oral and written communication, information management, adaptive and servant leadership, working with a ministry team in a large/medium church setting and proficiency in Excel and Word. A bachelor’s degree is required. Although the ordination as a deacon is not required, it will be given special consideration. A complete job description is available on our website.
