Christian Social Innovation: Renewing Wesleyan Witness
L. Gregory Jones has written a new book on Christian social innovation and entrepreneurship. The book, Christian Social Innovation: Renewing Wesleyan Witness, was published in May by Abingdon Press. In the book, Jones argues that churches need to take innovative approaches through social entrepreneurship that provide renewal, re-establish trust, and cultivate sustainability.
Jones is the newly appointed executive vice president and provost at Baylor University and is currently on leave from his faculty position at Duke Divinity School, The author of 17 books and the dean of Duke Divinity School from 1997 to 2010, he is a senior fellow at Leadership Education at Duke Divinity School and the Ruth W. and A. Morris Williams Jr. Professor of Christian Ministry.
