Building on last year’s visit from American folk artists Pierce and Grace Pettis, the Dean’s Songwriter Series will host musician and storyteller David Wilcox on Sept. 18.

Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Wilcox is a folk singer-songwriter, an engaging performer, and an artist other musicians love to cover. His visit will be part of an ongoing conversation at Duke Divinity School about songwriting, performance, and music in relation to Christian faith.

The event, co-sponsored by DITA, will include a public evening concert and a smaller lunchtime session. For more information on the event, visit the DITA calendar. For more information on David Wilcox, please visit his website.
