2011 Juried Arts Show winning entry, Franciscan Sandwich, Breaking Bread, by student Tyler MahoneyThe New Creation Arts Group is calling for submissions from students, faculty, staff, alumni, and immediate family members for Duke Divinity School’s Spring 2012 Juried Arts Exhibit by March 16.

The theme of this year’s exhibit is based on a new book, Food and Faith: A Theology of Eating, by Norman Wirzba, a research professor of theology, ecology, and rural life at the Divinity School. The theme can be interpreted broadly to engage issues of Christian unity, social justice, creation care, gender, race, and inter-religious dialogue.

The submitted visual art will be judged for prizes by an outside juror. There also will be a reception for the winners.
