The Duke Divinity School celebrated its 85th Baccalaureate service May 14 at 6:30 p.m. in Duke Chapel. Ellen Davis, Amos Ragan Kearns Distinguished Professor of Bible and Practical Theology, delivered a sermon, “The View from Mount Elijah,” based on the Old Testament lesson in I Kings 17:1-24  and the Gospel lesson in Mark 9:2-8.

The 90-minute service of worship included the traditional ritual of hooding for degree recipients and is available on YouTube for viewing.
