Like many small towns, Chatham, Va. has been devastated by the loss of its tobacco, textile, and furniture industries.  Recently, however, thanks in part to the leadership of Chatham Baptist Church and its pastor, Rev. Chuck Warnock, the community has experienced signs of revitalization.  The town now boasts a performing arts program for youth and a newly constructed community center.

On Oct. 22, Rev. Warnock will share this inspiring story of God’s grace conveyed through partnership.  All are invited to attend this session, which will be held from 12:25-1:20 p.m. in 059 Langford.  Lunch will be provided, no RSVP necessary.

This session, hosted by Thriving Rural Communities and the Baptist House of Studies, is part of the Rural Ministry Colloquia Series.  For details, contact Rev. Jeremy Troxler.
