Learning Evangelism from Methodism’s Past

Early Methodism was evangelistic, Laceye Warner, associate professor of the practice of evangelism and Methodist studies, explained to an audience of 600 church developers at the gathering in Evanston, Ill. on July 30.
"When the Wesleys talked about spreading 'Scriptural holiness,' they meant evangelism," she said.
