Brian K. Blount of Union Theological Seminary Presents Martin Luther King Jr. Lectures
The Office of Black Church Studies at Duke Divinity School will sponsor its annual Martin Luther King Jr. Lecture Series on April 7-8.
The guest lecturer will be Dr. Brian K. Blount, president and professor of New Testament at Union Theological Seminary and Presbyterian School of Christian Education in Richmond, Va.
He will present the lecture, “No Free Pass: An Apocalyptic Call For Prophetic Witness in the Book of Revelation,” on April 7 at 2:30 p.m. in Goodson Chapel at the Divinity School.
The Divinity School also will host a clergy Continuing Education seminar, led by Blount, on April 8 from 11:25 a.m. to 2 p.m.
