Methodist House provides opportunities for United Methodist and other Pan-Methodist students (AME, AMEZ, CME, Nazarene, Free Methodist and Wesleyan) to gather for fellowship and formation.
Beginning through student initiative in 2008, the student leadership adopted as the foundational purpose for Methodist House: “Forming Leaders to Make Disciples in the Wesleyan Tradition.”

About the Director
Stephen Gunter joined Duke Divinity School’s faculty and administration in 2007. Previously he was Scholar in Residence at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology, where he had been the Bishop Arthur J. Moore Associate Professor of Evangelism.
In addition to teaching at the university level for more than two decades, Dr. Gunter has served as a college president and as a consultant to seminaries and institutions of higher education.
