The Hispanic House of Studies at Duke Divinity School, La Unión Latina, Prison Fellowship, and Bridges Puentes prison ministry will sponsor a lecture, "Viviendo en el Olvidoz: Mass Incarceration in the Latinx Community," by Jorge Garcia, California field director for Prison Fellowship.

The event, which seeks to wrestle with how the United States' record growth of imprisonment affects the Latino population, also will include a dinner and panel discussion from 6 to 8 p.m. with Dulce Chaves and Kayla Hernandez Sullivan from Bridges Puentes. Dinner will be provided.
