The Center for Reconciliation at Duke Divinity School, in collaboration with DurhamCares, will host a workshop on "Trustbuilding and Community Change" with the Rev. Sylvester “Tee” Turner and Rob Corcoran of Hope in the Cities, Richmond, Va.

The workshop facilitators will provide specific tools to help leaders and emerging leaders from diverse backgrounds to address issues of critical importance to their communities and work creatively together to build shared visions for justice and reconciliation. The interactive workshop will explore four essential areas of learning for individuals seeking to build trust in diverse communities where there is a history of racial oppression, bias, and exclusion. In this process, participants will examine their own experiences of trust and elements that either build or undermine trust.

Registration is required.
