The Duke Chapel Choir will present the first of three performances of Handel's "Messiah." The choir will be joined by an orchestra of North Carolina professionals and international soloists during this annual event marking the beginning of the Christmas season and singing the story of Christ's life. The other two performances will be on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2 p.m., and on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 3 p.m.

Each performance will last about three hours with an intermission. Seat cushions are permitted. No food or drink allowed in Duke Chapel, except bottled water.

Late seating restrictions will be in effect. The Page Box Office, located to the left of Duke Chapel, will be open 90 minutes before each concert. Chapel doors will open for seating about one hour before each concert.

Parking is available for $5 on a first-come basis in the Bryan Center Parking Garage. Overflow parking is available in the Chemistry Lot. Vehicles with ADA passes may park in the Bryan Center Surface Lot.
