Duke Divinity School will host "Come & See," an evening for laity, community leaders, and church leaders in the Northern Piedmont District of the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church to learn more about the school's new offering, Duke Neighborhood Seminary.
Duke Neighborhood Seminary will provide robust theological, spiritual, and missional formation to equip lay people to engage in their home, neighborhood, workplace, and community. Led by an integrated team of Duke scholars, community practitioners, and trained spiritual directors, participants will meet monthly over two years for classroom work, as well as community practicums and spiritual direction. The program is supported by the Parish Ministry Fund.
Dinner will be provided. There is no cost to attend.
Pre-registration is required. Registration closes Friday, July 14.
