Duke Divinity School will host an evening discussion on how the vocation to study theology intersects with work in the public sphere featuring a current Duke Divinity student and also an alumnus.
The speakers will be the Rev. David Crabtree, news anchor/reporter with WRAL-TV and a vocational deacon at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, both in Raleigh, N.C., who is a student at the Divinity School; and Dr. Peter Morris, MPH, MDiv, a public health physician and executive director of Raleigh Urban Ministries.
The conversation will be facilitated by Ellen Davis, Amos Ragan Kearns Professor of Bible and practical theology at the school. The event is being sponsored by the school's Anglican Episcopal House of Studies (AEHS).
All are welcome.
