Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts (DITA) at Duke Divinity School is hosting a conversation on “Theater, Mystery and the Writer’s Journey” with Richard Everett, an actor, playwright and screenwriter from England who has been a strong supporter of the L’Arche community in the United Kingdom.

Everett is the author of seven published stage plays including the much acclaimed “Entertaining Angels,” which has had over 100 productions worldwide. He has 200 animation scripts to his credit as well as two feature films, three plays for BBC radio 4, and a published collection of award-winning sketches and meditations titled "Sound Bites." Everett also runs drama workshops for Additional Needs Adults. His current work, “Colin’s Home,” is a serious comedy that explores faith and meaning with adults with developmental disabilities.
