The Student Life and Ministrial Formation offices at Duke Divinity School will host a workshop for students on "Developing a Small Group Culture" as part of the "Thursday Mentoring for Ministry" series. The Methodist House of Studies is coordinating the workshop on learning how to help churches transition from a "Sunday School" model of Christian formation to one centered around participation in small group communities.

The Reformed Student Association at the school is coordinating the workshop featuring the Rev. Katie Crowe, senior pastor of Trinity Avenue Presbyterian Church in Durham, N.C., speaking on finding your unique and authentic preaching voice.

The Student Life and Ministrial Formation offices at Duke Divinity School will host a workshop for students on "Ministry: Ordination or Not? Exploring Ordination with the Houses of Study" as part of the "Thursday Mentoring for Ministry" series.

Participants will explore ordination with various houses of study at the school including the Baptist House of Studies, Methodist House of Studies and the Anglican Episcopal House of Studies at the workshop.

There also will be free pizza.

The Student Life and Ministrial Formation offices at Duke Divinity School will host a workshop for students on healthy and ethical eating on a graduate school budget as part of the "Thursday Mentoring for Ministry" series.

The workshop, "Mentoring for Ministry: Eating Healthily and Ethically on a Graduate School Budget," will feature Divinity School registrar Kori Robins (MDiv '12) as she explores ways for students to be faithful stewards of their time, money, bodies and the earth as it pertains to healthy eating in graduate school.

The Student Life and Ministrial Formation offices at Duke Divinity School will host a workshop for students on time management and self care as part of the "Thursday Mentoring for Ministry" series.

The workshop will feature Eboni Marshall Turman, director of the Office of Black Church Studies and assistant research professor of Black Church Studies at the school, making practical suggestions on how students can best manage their time and be intentional about self care.
