"Angel Tree" Gift Donation Project

Tuesday, November 13, 2012 (All day) to Friday, December 7, 2012 (All day)
Outside Cokesbury Bookstore and also outside 108 Gray Building

The Basin & Towel student group and the Office of Student Life at Duke Divinity School are collaborating with St. John's Missionary Baptist Church in Durham, N.C., to buy Christmas gifts for 75 members of the Walltown community who are in need.

Students, faculty, and staff may select a paper angel from an "Angel Tree" placed at two locations in the school: next to Cokesbury Bookstore on the basement level and the other is in the hall outside of the Academic Formation & Programs Office (108 Gray Building) beside the elevator.

Information on the type of gift to buy is on the reverse side of the paper angel. Gifts will go to children, senior citizens, families in need of food, and families in need of help due to house fires.

Wrapped gifts need to be taked to the Office of Student Life, 113 Gray Building, by Dec. 7 so that the gifts can be distributed by the church minister to Walltown residents.
