The Hispanic House of Studies at Duke Divinity School will hold an information meeting on how the it can serve as a resource for students seeking to serve and understand the growing Hispanic and Latino community in the U.S.
The meeting will include information about the Caminantes (Walkers) program for students and pastors, field education placement in Latin America, and the Manos Unidas (United Hands) student group. There also will be a question and answer session. Lunch will be provided.
Applications for the Caminantes program will be available during the Divinity School Orientation Week on Aug. 18-25. The program's first meeting will be held Sept. 2 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Room 0044 Langford Building.
