DITA "Image & Word" Fall Film Series, Session 1
401 Clarion Dr. Durham
Dan Train, the new postdoctoral associate for Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts (DITA), and Naaman Wood, a ThM and film studies student, will lead an informal theology and film group throughout the fall semester. The first session will feature the 1942 classic, Casablanca.
All three sessions will be held in Dr. Train's home and will center around a theological exploration of cinema, time, and resurrection through a classic, foreign or recent film. Screening will be preceded by a brief introduction and followed by group discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
RSVP to Amber Noel encouraged, as space may be limited.
This event is currently limited to the Divinity School community.
