Duke University Organ Recital Series Concert Featuring David Arcus
The Duke University Organ Recital Series will feature a concert with David Arcus, chapel organist and adjunct associate professor of sacred music at Duke Divinity School. He will perform his second program in this year's series on the Flentrop organ. It will feature music from the German Baroque, including works by Scheidemann, Reincken, Bach, and Bruhns.
Arcus has performed throughout the United States, in Europe, and in Great Britain. He also has won national awards in improvisation and composition, and several of his pieces are published by Concordia, Hinshaw, and Wayne Leupold Editions.
