"Fighting Anti-Immigration Law Like Christians: A Case Study from Alabama" with Will Willimon

Manos Unidas will sponsor a boxed lunch with Will Willimon, professor of the Practice of Christian Ministry at Duke Divinity School and the UMC bishop of the North Alabama Conference from 2004 to 2012, discussing leading United Methodists and bishops of the Episcopal and Roman Catholic churches in Alabama in bringing a court challenge to Alabama's anti-immigration laws. He also will talk about his experience within the church in defense of immigrants.

There will be free boxed lunches for the first 30 students.

Manos Unidas is a Duke Divinity School student group focused on ministry, fellowship and service with Latino communities.
