The Thriving Rural Communities Initiative will host a Rural Ministry Colloquium, “The Duke Endowment and the World of Grant Funding,” presented by the Rev. Robb Webb, director of the Rural Church Program Area of The Duke Endowment.

One of the largest philanthropic organizations in the U.S., The Duke Endowment annually provides millions of dollars in grants to strengthen communities in the Carolinas by nurturing children, promoting health, educating minds, and enriching spirits.

The colloquium will introduce participants to the resources and grant application processes of the endowment, as well as provide an overview of what funders such as The Duke Endowment are looking for in successful grant proposals.

A free lunch will be provided to the first 40 participants. No registration necessary.
