Carol Eckerman, author of the spiritual memoir Lessons in Simply Being: Finding the Peace within Tumult, will join Susan Steinbery and Katie Ricks, two of the co-authors of Wide Open Spaces: Women Exploring Call Through Stories and Reflections, in reading from their recently published books.

The audience will be invited to join them in a discussion about autobiographical writing as a spiritual discovering practice. 

The public events will be moderated by Duke Divinity School student and book publicist Erin Lane.
