Gardner C. Taylor Luncheon for Students

Dale P. Andrews, guest lecturer for the Office of Black Church Studies' 2011 fall Gardner C. Taylor Lecture Series on Sept. 27-28, will  hold an open discussion with students at a luncheon in the Alumni Memorial Common Room. Limited space is available. Andrews is a distinguished professor of homiletics, social justice and practical theology at Vanderbilt University Divinity School and Graduate Department of Religion.  An ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church, Dr. Andrews has served AME Zion churches in Connecticut and New Jersey.

The lecture series, established in 1975 and named in honor of the Rev. Gardner C. Taylor, provides opportunities to hear outstanding black preachers in Duke Divinity School classes and worship services.
