Ismael Ruiz-Millán, the new director of the Hispanic House of Studies at Duke Divinity School, will present an overview of immigration issues and their intersection with the church. The presentation, "From Hostility to Hospitality: Immigration and the Church," will examine how immigration is affecting North Carolina, how congregations can get involved, and how pastors and faith leaders can foster helpful conversations on controversial issues.

The event is hosted by the N.C. Council of Churches as part of its statewide series of clergy lunches for religious professionals and faith leaders. A free meal will be provided. Registration is required.
