Rev. McKennon Shea
Director of Admissions
McKennon is a United Methodist pastor in the Virginia Conference who served in the local church before being appointed to Duke Divinity School. He received his M.Div. from Duke Divinity School after receiving a B.A. from Hampden-Sydney College. He and his wife, Anna, worship and serve with the Congregation at Duke University Chapel in Durham. McKennon values the opportunities to meet and visit with those who may be called to graduate theological education as a step in fulfilling their calling in God’s world.
Morgan Hendrix
Assistant Director of Admissions
Originally from Raleigh, N.C., Morgan holds a B.A. from Kenyon College in Ohio and an M.A. from Duke University. Morgan lives in Durham with her husband Brian and their two dogs. Morgan and Brian are Episcopalians who worship locally. Morgan is available to answer admissions questions, and you might meet her on the road recruiting for Duke Divinity School.
Charlotte Savino
Staff Specialist for Admissions
A born-and-raised New Yorker, Charlotte Savino is a recent transplant living in Chapel Hill. Charlotte received her B.A. in English from The College of William and Mary, worked in magazine publishing in Manhattan, and finds herself in North Carolina while her husband, Lee, attends UNC Chapel Hill for a doctorate in English. Charlotte fields questions and readily sends out information dispatches regarding the Divinity School’s many degrees.
Amy Jantzen
Staff Specialist for Admissions
Amy Jantzen grew up just outside Chicago and graduated from Wheaton College in IL with a B.A. in Psychology and Christian Education. Amy lives in Durham with her husband Matt, a student at Duke Divinity School. They attend Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church in Bahama, N.C. Amy enjoys answering questions for students in order to help them ease into their time at the Divinity School.

Sheila Williams
Director of Financial Aid
Sheila holds a B.A. degree in public administration from Shaw University. Sheila and her husband Roger live in Knightdale, N.C. and are the proud parents of John, Thomas, and Terri, and a beautiful Akita named Nash. She has passionately served the Divinity School’s financial aid office for the past 20 years and celebrates 33 years as a Duke employee. Sheila is known for her welcoming and friendly nature and will answer all of your questions relating to financial aid.
