Pay Your Deposit

To hold your place in the incoming class, you will need to submit a non-refundable deposit fee of $100 as soon as possible. Receipt of this fee is necessary to secure your place in the 2014 entering class and will be credited toward fees due in the first semester of enrollment.

Funding Your Education

At Duke Divinity, we view providing financial aid as part of our Christian service and award some form of financial assistance to most students. Our financial aid staff is here to counsel you on finding a wide variety of funding sources to make your time here affordable. For more information, visit the Office of Financial Aid site.

Most Duke Divinity students qualify for need-based tuition grants (between 20-33% tuition awards). Many students seek employment through the work-study program. In addition, paid field education placements (up to $9,000 per experience) for M.Div. students can help to defray the costs of your education.

To be considered for grants and work-study opportunities, you will be required to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and Duke Divinity Application for Need Based Institutional Grants (pdf). Need-based awards cannot be made until all application documents have been submitted.
